Steven Gerrard will grace the Anfield pitch once again after being added to the Liverpool Legends squad to take on Celtic Legends next Saturday.
The likes of Jamie Carragher, Daniel Agger, Luis Garcia and Dirk Kuyt will all be in action for the latest instalment of the Legends fixtures, which have been taking place at the home of the Reds since 2015. All funds raised from such games go directly to the LFC Foundation, the official club charity which supports the local community through a range of initiatives.
Gerrard first became involved in Liverpool charity contests back in 2015, as part of an All-Star match featuring both Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez, and has since featured in the following four Anfield showdowns in 2017, 2018, 2019 and last year's defeat by Barcelona. There were no Legends games in 2020 or 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Reds will be managed on the day by Sir Kenny Dalglish, who will be supported by a backroom team of Ian Rush, John Barnes and John Aldridge.
Tickets for the game – priced at £27 for adults, £7 for juniors and £17 for over 65s – are still on sale and can be purchased online by clicking here.
