Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has sent his best wishes to his old club for the Champions League final this weekend.
The Reds take on Real Madrid in the final in Paris on Saturday night, looking to win their seventh trophy in the competition. It will be the third European Cup final that Liverpool have played in within the last five seasons.
Jurgen Klopp’s side saw off Villarreal to reach the final at the Stade de France. For Real Madrid, they beat Manchester City in their semi-final to set up a final against Liverpool.

Gerrard has made the trip to Paris to watch Liverpool take on Real Madrid in the final. In a video on social media, the former Reds captain has sent a message from the Stade de France to his old club.
“I’d like to wish everyone at Liverpool the best of luck,” said Gerrard, via the club’s Twitter account.
“I hope they get the outcome that everyone wants, I’m getting excited for the big game.
“The fans are building up nicely outside the stadium, hopefully it will be a fantastic game.
“I predict a 2-0 Liverpool win.”
