Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard admits he needs to prepare his side for a 'different' type of test against Manchester United next week.
United began their pre-season schedule with a 4-0 thrashing of Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday before flying to Australia for the second-leg of their tour.
Ten Hag's side are back in action when they face Melbourne Victory on Friday and will play another game in the city next Tuesday against Villa. United then fly to Perth to face Crystal Palace before returning to Europe to face Atletico Madrid in Oslo on July 30 and Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford the day after.

United will be hoping to build upon their impressive opening performance against Liverpool when they face two more Premier League rivals next week.
Liverpool legend Gerrard will be hoping to get one over on United when they meet, and he admits he has already noticed a couple of changes to the side under Ten Hag.
Speaking to 10 News First , he said: “Manchester United, obviously, the name speaks for itself. They’ve been a rival of mine from a personal point of view for many years.
“New manager and I watched their game against Liverpool. It looks like they’ll have a different style, to be more aggressive and on the front foot. We’ll prepare for that.”
