Steven Gerrard could not agree with James Milner's assessment of the Anfield pitch - which he cited as an issue during Liverpool's draw with Chelsea.
The two struggling outfits played out a goalless 90 minutes - with a point doing little to help either team's situation. The game lacked quality or many clear cut chances as Liverpool and Chelsea slipped further away from the top four. Milner began the game at right-back before being hauled off in the second-half.
The former Manchester City man did air concerns over the state of the Anfield pitch, which didn't make it easy during the lunchtime kick-off, but felt they could've made it easier for themselves.
