Steve Morison is delighted with the calibre of clubs clamouring for his Cardiff City players following the loan exits of Mark McGuinness and Eli King.
McGuinness and King are widely acknowledged to be two of the better young prospects on Cardiff's books and Morison was always consistent in his message that players would only be allowed to leave if it furthered their development as footballers for the long-term betterment of the Bluebirds.
Centre-back and Republic of Ireland youth international McGuinness, 21, has played 90 minutes in both of Sheffield Wednesday's league games since making the move to Hillsborough, as well as 45 minutes in the League Cup, and is yet to concede a goal. He has earned plaudits from Wednesdayites in the process, too.

King was thrown straight into the mix at Crewe Alexandra at the weekend. He played the full 90 minutes for the League Two side in their goalless draw with Bradford City and looks set to be a big part of their plans this term. Morison, suffice to say, believes the moves are perfect for both players.
"They are good players, Mark and Eli, we expect them to go and make impressions," Morison said of his young Bluebirds duo. "Mark, it's a perfect loan, going to the best team in League One and he is going to shine. He is going to do really well.
"Eli has gone to a football club that plays the way he wants to play and the way we want him to play. It'll be good for him.
"He now needs to learn it's Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday-Tuesday, three points on the line. If he comes back in January then he will come back a better player for it."
Crewe boss Alex Morris was particularly pleased with King's exploits on debut, branding his performance "sensational". That certainly bodes well for Cardiff, who will be keen onlookers as the 19-year-old Wales youth international plots his first meaningful steps in the English Football League.
Crewe manager Morris said: “It was a sensational debut from Eli. We know he’s a good footballer but what we’ve also got is an incredible athlete.
“Him and Conor Thomas, as a pair, will probably cover more distance than any other pair in this league.
“They are outstanding athletes who can play. They formed a really good partnership in terms of providing a screen to the back four; they can get on the front foot and win the ball back, and I’m sure that partnership with grow.
“Eli is such a level-headed boy and we had no reservations about throwing him in straight away.”
