Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr was seen on the sideline during Saturday night’s game against the visiting San Antonio Spurs, but fans also thought they caught a glance of the coach in the stands at Chase Center, too.
The NBC Sports Bay Area television broadcast panned to a fan in the crowd who looked eerily similar to Kerr. Even the announcers were taken aback.
“He looks more like Steve than Steve,” they said.
It helped that the fan styled his hair pretty much the same as Kerr, and he was wearing a blue Nike pullover. It easily could have been the Warriors coach taking a night off. But, the broadcast quickly panned to Kerr on the Warriors bench to clarify that it was indeed just a doppelganger.
"He looks more like Steve than Steve."
