Steve Cooper has urged people to look beyond the number of signings when it comes to Nottingham Forest's transfer strategy.
The Reds have made 15 signings this summer with Remo Freuler announced tonight, while Forest are widely reported to be in talks with Brighton over striker Neal Maupay. Emmanuel Dennis and Cheikhou Kouyate were announced as new signings late last night but were not available to be in the squad to face West Ham as Forest won 1-0 at the City Ground.
Forest go to Everton next and Cooper hopes more signings will be confirmed before then as he asked for sceptics to examine why Forest have signed so many players after five loan signings from last season returned to their parent clubs, while other senior players moved on.
