STEVE CLARKE is fearful of losing Scotland No.2 John Carver to the Indian Super League.
The Scottish Sun report that the very experienced coach could step down from his duties after their opening Nations League games.
Carver is well regarded by Clarke and is believed to have a good connection with the players.
However, the report states that Clarke's right-hand man is a top target for ISL club Chennaiyin.
It's said though that Carver turned down an initial offer from the club.
However, he does remain keen on a return to full-time football, with Chennaiyin still interested.
Clarke is believed to love working with Carver and would be disappointed to loss him.
