Steubenville-Area Patients Should Check Their Insurance Networks and Appointments as UPMC Takes Over Four Trinity Hospitals

UPMC Trinity Insurance Ohio the Ohio Valley

UPMC has taken over CommonSpirit Trinity Health System in eastern Ohio, bringing four hospitals and "all associated clinics and care sites" under the Pittsburgh-based health system, UPMC announced. UPMC said the transition took effect Oct. 1.

The hospitals are Trinity West and Trinity East in Steubenville, Trinity Twin City Medical Center in Dennison and Trinity St. Clairsville Neighborhood Hospital in St. Clairsville. Together they now operate as UPMC Trinity, according to Chief Healthcare Executive.
