Stephen 'tWitch' Boss' grieving wife says he 'lit up every room' in devastating tribute

Allison Holker has broken her silence to pay tribute to her 'inspirational' husband Stephen 'tWitch' Boss after he died at the age of 40.

The DJ, who became known for his appearances on the Ellen Show, has died from suicide, it has been reported.

Allison has been left heartbroken by her husband's death and vowed to honour his memory, saying "his positive impact will continue to be felt".

She said: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us.

"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him.

"He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement," Allison said in a statement to People.

The 34-year-old asked for privacy during this difficult time as she and their three children — Weslie, 14, Maddox, six, and Zaia, three — attempt to move on from this tragedy.

Allison concluded her statement by saying Stephen is missed and that she will "always save the last dance" for him.

Stephen's close friend Ellen DeGeneres was left devastated after discovering the tragic news and took to Instagram to pay her respects.

The talk show host posted a photo of herself and tWitch hugging on her Instagram page and expressed her sadness in the caption.

She wrote: "I'm heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him.

"Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children - Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia."

Stephen started DJing on Ellen's show in 2014 and remained with the show until it ended earlier this year. Ellen made Stephen an executive producer on the show in 2020.

It was reported Stephen's wife Allison Holker ran into an LAPD station on Tuesday after she was left deeply concerned he had left home without his car, which was unlike him, a law enforcement source told TMZ.

A short time later, it has been reported that the police received a call for a shooting at an LA hotel, where Stephen was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
