Mikey Johnston has won his first Ireland call-up - but there is no room for Robbie Brady in the 26-man squad for this month’s games against Latvia and France.
Celtic winger Johnston received his international clearance earlier this month.
Ireland will host Latvia next Wednesday in a friendly, before opening their Euro 2024 qualification campaign at home to World Cup runners-up France on Monday March 27.
Norwich City duo Andrew Omobamidele and Adam Idah return to the squad for the first time since November 2021.
There are also comebacks for Derby midfielder Jason Knight and Wigan striker Will Keane, who both missed out on last November’s friendlies against Norway and Malta through injury.
