Stephen Curry had a night to forget on Sunday against the Trail Blazers. The 35-year-old struggled despite the Warriors picking up a 118–114 win, recording a season-low seven points.
In fact, Curry failed to knock down a single three-pointer throughout his 31 minutes on the court, putting an end to his historic streak of 268 consecutive games with a three.
Curry made just two field goals in the game, and was 0-for-8 from three-point range. The last time he didn’t make a three-point field goal in a game was back on November 8, 2018 in a game against the Bucks.
Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins carried the offensive load during Curry’s down night, combining for 53 points.
It was the first time since October 2012 that Curry played more than 30 minutes in a game and scored seven or fewer points. Entering Sunday’s tilt against Portland, he’d made three or more threes in all but one game this season.
It had been more than five years since Curry failed to register a single three-pointer in a game, but his NBA record streak came to an abrupt end on Sunday night.
