The heartbroken step-dad of a missing East Lothian man has said that his family are still "worried sick" as they keep searching for the 37-year-old, a month on from his disappearance.
As reported by the Daily Record, step-dad Gary Finnie described his missing son Dean as 'kind, innocent and funny', after he vanished from Musselburgh on New Years Eve.

Dean Conner was last spotted at around 5pm on December 31 2021, in the street of Links' Avenue in Musselburgh, as he headed towards the promenade.
As the search for Dean enters its fifth week, Gary has said that with every passing day, the family only 'worries even more'.
Gary said: "Please don't give up on our boy! Someone somewhere must know something.
"One month has passed with no news. Dean's mum is heartbroken and the whole family is worried beyond sick.
"Every day is another tick of a clock that makes us worry even more. We all know Dean to be a kind, innocent and funny lad that doesn't deserve whatever is happening or has happened to him.

"He needs your help! And he needs to be found!"
Police Scotland began a fresh appeal for an new information on Dean's disappearance this weekend, with Chief Inspector Jocelyn O'Conner urging the public to come forward, even if the information seems small.
Dean's family have also asked for any sightings to be reported, and urged the public to help them by printing out missing posters and handing them into pubs, cafes and shops in their local areas.
Gary added: "Please act on any thoughts, suspicion or knowledge you might have and get in touch.
"Ask questions from yourself or others that might remember or suspect anything no matter how insignificant as its all part of a large jigsaw and every piece of information counts."
Dean is described as white, five foot, ten inches tall with short, dark brown, black hair.
CCTV footage of Dean shows that shortly before he went missing he was wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms and white trainers.
