It's a pretty common practice for haute couture brands to close their shows with a delightfully extravagant wedding gown. Usually with the veil included. We're not exactly sure how the whole trend started, but that doesn't really matter. What matters is the fact that we're treated to some bridal eye candy at almost every presentation. The Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall 2024 wedding looks are a great source of inspiration for brides-to-be or anyone fantasizing about their nuptials.
We're calling them "looks" because they're not all dresses. Jean Paul Gaultier offered up a hybrid dress-jumpsuit creation complete with a cut-out back. The minimal sandals and geometric earring provide balance. Zuhair Murad debuted a dramatically beaded and somewhat see-through suit. It's more of an off-white and not exactly designed for a typical church ceremony, but for more daring brides, it's a real showstopper.
