Stefon Diggs’ former girlfriend, Aileen Lopera, has officially dismissed her paternity and child support lawsuit against the NFL star. Instagram model filed to drop the case on Jan. 20, bringing an apparent end to a legal dispute that has unfolded over the past year.
The dismissal follows earlier claims from Lopera’s legal team that a paternity test confirmed Diggs is the father of her daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera. Lopera’s attorney, Tamar Arminak, addressed the latest development in a brief statement to Us Weekly, saying, “The matter has been resolved.”
Lopera initially filed the lawsuit in December 2024 while she was still pregnant. In her petition, she requested legal and physical custody of the child and asked that Diggs be granted only visitation rights. She also sought financial support, including coverage for pregnancy-related medical bills, birth expenses, and attorney’s fees. At the time, the filing signaled a contentious start to what would become a very public situation.

After Charliee was born in April 2025, Diggs responded to the lawsuit in July by requesting a genetic test. In court documents, he stated that he was “not certain” of the child’s paternity. He also asked the court for joint legal and joint physical custody if the test confirmed he was the father. Diggs further requested that any pregnancy, birth-related expenses, and legal fees be split between both parties rather than placed solely on him.
By November, Arminak that the test results had confirmed Diggs as Charliee’s father. She shared an optimistic statement at the time, saying, “Now that the child’s paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work toward being great parents to their child.”
She also noted that Lopera was prepared to continue with the case if the two sides could not reach an agreement, adding that the matter would “move forward if the parties are not able to resolve [their issue] themselves.” Now that the case has been dismissed, it appears the two have reached a private resolution.

The legal news comes as Diggs’ personal life continues to draw attention. The 32-year-old wide receiver, who reportedly has six children, is currently dating Cardi B. The couple welcomed a baby boy together in November 2025. The rapper, 33, recently responded bluntly to critics who questioned her relationship choices.
“I can’t change s–t. I can’t go back in time,” she said. “I already had a baby. Y’all want me to put my baby back in my p—y?” She continued, “You want me to leave my man and f–k yours? What y’all want me to do?”
With the lawsuit now behind them, attention may shift from the courtroom to how Diggs and Lopera move forward as co-parents.
