Five teenagers have been charged with the murder of a 19-year-old man knifed to death on the streets of north London last Friday.
The teenage boys, four aged 16 and one aged 17, will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday charged with the murder of Stefan Valentine Balaban in Edgware.
Police were called just after 1am on Friday, 28 July to Whitchurch Lane, where officers and paramedics found Stefan suffering from a stab wound.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he died at the scene. A post-mortem confirmed he died of a stab wound to the chest.
