With just seven days until domestic action resumes with a Carabao Cup trip to Manchester City next Thursday, This afternoon's friendly will provide Jurgen Klopp with plenty to ponder ahead of their return to the UK.
Front and centre of the Liverpool manager's thoughts will no doubt be Bajcetic. The 18-year-old started against Lyon and did so again against Milan as he looks to stake a claim as chief stand-in for Fabinho. The Spaniard once again looked comfortable in the middle of the park as he dictated play with ease.

While only a limited amount can be taken from friendlies played some way below 100%, the teenager continues to look at ease surrounded by the stars of the firs-team, and Liverpool fans all agreed that Bajcetic could be in-line for some more competitive action in the new year.
Liverpool went on to beat Milan 4-1. Mohamed Salah, Thiago and Darwin Nunez (2) got the goals.
