Steelers skill position players check in at No. 13 on ESPN rankings

The word you are going to hear a lot when it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers offense is potential. This group has a ton of potential. Plenty of young guys but many of them are almost completely untested. This makes ranking these guys challenging if you are thinking about a projection into the 2023 season.

But ESPN is looking at last season in their offensive skill player rankings, the best they could give the Steelers is No. 13. Which if we are being honest is a pretty generous assessment. Pittsburgh’s offense statistically was among the worst in the league last season. No. 26 in scoring and No. 23 in yards is nothing to write home about.

This offense is going to go as far as quarterback Kenny Pickett takes them. Pickett seems to be making great strides in the offeseason following up a strong finish which should give all of these skill players hope that the offense will be much more efficient this season.
