Well, the Pittsburgh Steelers love those family connections. The latest comes in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL draft with the selection of Wisconsin edge Nick Herbig. He is the younger brother of Steelers guard Nate Herbig.
Herbig immediately becomes the third outside linebacker on the depth chart. Assuming he gets into the flow of the defense quickly, he should be in the rotation with T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith right away. Herbig is a little light in the lower body but plays hard and finishes every play.
The Steelers still have two more picks in the 2023 NFL, both in the seventh round.
