Steelers reach agreement with FA quarterback Mitchell Trubisky

After all the speculation, it seems the Pittsburgh Steelers have their new quarterback. According to NFL reporter Mike Garafolo, the Pittsburgh Steelers have reached an agreement on a two-year contract for former Buffalo Bills quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.

Trubisky is a former first-round pick of the Chicago Bears and most recently backed up Josh Allen in Buffalo. His signing with the Steelers could be exactly the fresh start he needs.

The Steelers currently have Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins under contract and until this moment, Rudolph had the inside track to start in place of Ben Roethlisberger this season. Pittsburgh plans to bring four quarterbacks to training camp so don’t rule out a draft pick as well.
