If I were a betting man, I’d say we are going to see maximum effort from Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris on Sunday that would make Deadpool jealous. He’s been vocal this week about the problems the Steelers offense is having and making his stand that this is about what the players aren’t doing and not what the coaches are doing.
According to Harris, the team is playing soft and to quote him, ” We’re not firing off, we’re not making plays.”
Buy Steelers TicketsMaybe the most interesting part of that line is the idea of not firing off. When I think of that, I think of the offensive line. There’s no denying this group has been bullied this season. A lack of effort is evident and it feels like Harris is calling his line out to do better this week against the Baltimore Ravens.
Harris is only averaging 52.5 yards per game. He’s averaging 4.3 yards per carry but has yet to find the end zone. If the Steelers are going to beat Baltimore, they must establish the run game and that starts up front.
