In what could be considered a surprising move, the Pittsburgh Steelers have cut ties with wide receivers coach Frisman Jackson. Jackson’s contract was up after serving as the team’s wide receivers coach for the past three seasons.
Jackson was hired after Ike Hilliard was let go. This position has been a revolving door since the passing of Darryl Drake.
The Steelers are working hard to get the offense in order with the addition of new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. We expect to see multiple staffing changes as Smith brings in a new system.

In terms of a replacement, fans are going to clamor for Hines Ward to come in and replace Jackson. Another name to keep an eye on is former Tennessee Titans wide receivers coach Rob Moore. Moore was the wide receivers coach of the Titans when Smith was the offensive coordinator and was let go by the team with the change of coaching staff there.
