Bill Belichick hasn’t been in a rush to make a pick in many drafts. The year 2023 was no different.
The Patriots’ coach swung a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.
The Pats dropped to 17 and the AFC North team moved up to 14.
Who did the Steelers want?
They drafted Broderick Jones, an offensive tackle at Georgia.
That’s another way to make sure Kenny Pickett has plenty of protection and it was worth the price of the 120th pick in the fourth on Saturday.
TRADE ALERT: The @Steelers have traded up to the No. 14 pick!
The @Patriots receive picks 17 and 120. #NFLDraft
