Mike Tomlin is in the process of making the most pivotal hire in his 17-year career as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Coveted offensive coordinators are flying off the board as he and the organization take their sweet ol’ time with this critical decision.
And while they put in a request to interview L.A. Rams’ former passing game coordinator Zac Robinson, he never did meet with the team and instead met with several others before accepting the offensive coordinator gig with the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday.
While the NFL season isn’t over and more options will be available once it is, the lack of movement in the interview process has been frustrating for Steelers fans. They took to Twitter to vent after seeing the reported top candidate take his services elsewhere.

This one stings. Zac Robinson was one of my favorite OC candidates for the #Steelers. https://t.co/6vPIeOBOLY
