The Pittsburgh Steelers could face a Micah Parsons-less defense when they welcome the Dallas Cowboys to Acrisure Stadium next week.
Parsons suffered a high ankle sprain in Dallas’ win over the New York Giants on Thursday night. An MRI will reveal the severity, but Parsons will likely miss at least one game. What’s working in his favor is the Cowboys’ 10-day break between now and Week 5.
Parsons, a two-time All-Pro and a three-time Pro Bowler, has one sack and 14 total tackles this year over four games.
Should Parsons suit up, it’ll be the first time a Steelers quarterback must contend with his wrath in the regular season. The last showdown between Pittsburgh and Dallas occurred in the 2021 Hall of Fame game.
Micah Parsons says he’s knows “very little” about the severity of his ankle injury. Has an MRI tomorrow but will try to be back for next week at the #Steelers. https://t.co/ij14gwfBxr
