Pro Football Focus put out their updated NFL power rankings after the 2023 NFL draft and several things stood out. Perhaps the most surprising was the move of the New York Jets all the way up to the No. 6 spot. Meanwhile the Pittsburgh Steelers are stuck at No. 17 despite what most pundits consider a Top 3 draft class.
Here is the full list:
1) Chiefs
2) Eagles
3) 49ers
4) Bengals
5) Bills
6) Jets

Based on the rankings, the Steelers are the worst team in the AFC North, even the Cleveland Browns who are ranked at a shocking No. 9. Only six teams in the AFC are ranked lower than the Steelers. There is a lot of negative public perception of Pittsburgh the team can wash away just by coming out of the gate fast and winning the games they should win.
