New Delhi: The Indian Navy's stealth frigate INS Trishul has taken part in the flagship bilateral naval exercise 'Varuna' in France aimed at strengthening maritime ties and professional bonds between the two navies.

The 24th edition of the annual exercise was held from September 22 to 28, a senior official said on Thursday.
