The Brainrot Dealer has been replaced with the Brainrot Trader in Steal a Brainrot. Instead of buying rare brainrots for cash, you now have to trade for them using brainrots that you already own. What is the Brainrot Trader in Steal a Brainrot?
The Brainrot Trader is an NPC who has replaced the Brainrot Dealer in Steal a Brainrot. You can find the Brainrot Trader in the same location as the Brainrot Dealer, standing in front of a cart next to the Shop.
The Trader has up to 4 different rarity brainrots in stock at any given moment. However, unlike the Dealer, you don’t need cash to get those brainrots. Instead, you need to bring other brainrots to the Trader and exchange them for the brainrot that you want. See the recipes section below to find out which brainrots you need to get certain brainrots from the Brainrot Trader in Steal a Brainrot.
Brainrot Trader’s stock refreshes every 2 hours, and he has unlimited server-sided stock. Every player can trade for the available brainrots, and you can also trade for the same brainrot multiple times.
If you don’t want the final brainrot, go back to the Trader and click the Return button to get your original brainrots back that you traded earlier.

How to Trade with the Brainrot Trader in Steal a Brainrot
Trading brainrots with the Brainrot Trader in Steal a Brainrot is pretty simple. Here’s how to do it:
- Go to the Trader and check the brainrots available.
- See the recipe for the brainrot you want.
- If you have all the brainrots needed, go to your base and bring all the required brainrots to the trader one by one. Purchase or ask your friends to gift you the brainrots that you don’t have.
- After submitting the brainrots, interact with the Trader again and click on the Trade button to accept the trade and receive the brainrot.

There are many differences between the Brainrot Trader and the Brainrot Dealer. The Brainrot Dealer only had limited stock, and players had to buy the brainrots using Cash. On the other hand, the Brainrot Dealer has an unlimited stock of the brainrots, and you don’t need cash. Instead, you have to trade in other brainrots.
Recipes for Legendary and Mythic rarity brainrots are the best for beginners, as they offer good ROI. You’ll probably already own most of the brainrots needed for these recipes. If you don’t, you can easily get them from the belt because of their high spawn rate and low cost.
Yes, Sammy has confirmed during the latest Admin Abuse that more brainrots will be added to the list of Brainrot Trader Inventory with future updates. This also hints that the Brainrot Trader might be a long-term feature in the game.
The Brainrot Trader offers a much fairer system to all players, unlike the Brainrot Dealer, which was more of a P2W feature. Now, every player has the same chance of getting high-rarity brainrots as long as they can get the right ingredients before the stock refreshes.
