With October half term on the horizon, many families are looking for peaceful staycation getaways.
A staycation removes all the faff of jetting off on a plane and can sometimes be more affordable. There are plenty of places us Brits can enjoy right on our doorstep, including scenic areas like Shropshire.
Skyes Cottages is currently offering a deal of 7 nights for £396 at Shepherd's View in Shropshire, Minsterley, a cosy log-cabin that is described as 'perfect for couples'. The cabin offers a relaxing break on the edge of Minsterley village, with attractions nearby.
