Huw Ewards has been named as the BBC presenter who is facing allegations facing allegations over payments for sexually explicit images,

The 61-year-old news presenter was named in a statement by his wife Vicky Flind, on his behalf, on Wednesday night.

The statement was made as the Metropolitan Police said no criminal offence had been committed by the presenter.
