Starmer to meet Middle East leaders amid fragile Iran ceasefire

Sir Keir Starmer will continue his tour of the Middle East on Thursday after he met with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman, as part of ongoing talks with allies to give shipping the “confidence” to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

The two leaders met as the Prime Minister travelled to Saudi Arabia as part of a visit to the region designed in large part to try and cement the fragile ceasefire between Iran and the United States.
