Called Farmer's Store, the handcrafted mod transforms the cozy farming simulator into a more complex business management experience. While running a grocery store is one of the main options, players are encouraged to get creative with the type of establishment they want to operate. Other possibilities include opening a restaurant or even setting up a museum.
Running a successful business is far more involved than simply filling shelves with products. Players must manage inventory, purchase goods from suppliers, restock items, hire employees, and promote their businesses through marketing campaigns. Each decision can affect how smoothly the establishment operates.

Parts of the user interface also remain untranslated.
The developer is reportedly working with the Nexus Mods community to improve language support. NPC dialogue is also generated with AI, allowing the mod to adapt its content for players using different languages.

Farmer's Store appears to be designed for players who have already spent countless hours exploring Stardew Valley and want a new reason to return. The creator says the mod aims to recreate some of the excitement of discovering the game for the first time, while giving players more freedom in how they approach progression.
