Stardew Valley fan recreates wait for Haunted Chocolatier by sleeping for 1,000 years in the farming sim, wakes up to sea of giant mushrooms and chickens that are immortal, but understandably "grumpy"

As the seemingly eternal wait for Stardew Valley's big 1.7 update and upcoming sim Haunted Chocolatier continues, one player finds a particularly amusing way to pass the time – snoozin' away for, uh… over 1,000 years?

Reddit user "Holozard" shares their unique achievement in a post, explaining that they "slept for 1,000 years straight" in-game recently – and yes, they've attached some screenshots of the aftermath, too.

The first shows that their farm is so aptly named "Sleepwell Farm," and their character is similarly dubbed "Sleepy." As for their funds, they've only got 500 gold, because, you know, they seemingly slept from Spring, Year 1 to Spring, Year 1,000.
