Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) just revolutionized how coffee gets counted. The Seattle coffee giant announced Sept. 3 it has partnered with NomadGo to deploy AI-powered automated counting across all 11,000 North American company-operated stores by September’s end.

The transformation at Starbucks represents a massive shift from manual inventory tallies to instant, accurate counts using nothing more than a handheld tablet.
