It’s that time of year again already - Pumpkin Spice Lattes are officially back for the autumn.
Starbucks announced the long-awaited return of its beloved beverage which is available from today, 1 September. Dubbed ‘autumn in a cup’, the drink combines Starbucks Signature Espresso and steamed milk with flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove to complement the pumpkin flavour.
Earlier this week on 25 August, North East favourite Greggs also welcomed Pumpkin Spice Lattes back to the menu, The Daily Record reports . Served up with whipped cream and a sprinkle of spiced sugar, the drink makes for the perfect autumnal treat as the weather turns crisp.

The latte isn’t the only autumnal drink on offer at Starbucks this year - the coffeehouse chain has introduced another pumpkin-flavoured treat for customers, according to WalesOnline . The new Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is infused with a touch of vanilla and topped with pumpkin cream foam.
Alongside the popular pumpkin flavours, Starbucks’ autumn menu also includes the Iced Salted Maple and Caramel Latte topped with crunchy caramel. And the food menu has had a seasonal makeover too, with new offerings including a toffee and apple muffin, blackberry and apple overnight oats, and American deli meats focaccia.
The new beverages are available to enjoy from Starbucks stores and Drive Thrus across the UK while stocks last. You can also order via the Starbucks UK app, or through Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
Starbucks shared the news on their Instagram page, where fans quickly shared their delight at the return of their favourite drink. “Highlight of my day,” one excited customer commented, while another said: “Have been waiting for this all year long.”
Greggs fans were equally excited when the bakery revealed that their Pumpkin Spice Lattes were back. “It is officially Halloween!” one person declared.
