As Star Wars prepares to transition back into cinemas with The Mandalorian & Grogu in 2026 and many more upcoming movies, we're also waiting for news on more shows beyond Andor season 2 and Ahsoka season 2. How does this all fit together? We've put together our own rundown of the Star Wars timeline so you can navigate the galaxy far, far away without getting as lost as the kids in Skeleton Crew.

Looking at the timeline, we've got both new additions as well as more precise 'pieces' of major eras we've already explored based on galaxy-reshaping events such as Order 66 or the creation of the New Republic. So far, every Star Wars movie and Star Wars TV series has explored a rather 'limited' portion of the Star Wars timeline that's been developed over the decades (and across two different canons) through comic books, novels, and video games.
