While the wait for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is nearly over, there’s just enough time left to squeeze in one last trailer – this one should be enough to whet your appetite until launch.
On Sunday, the final gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor premiered at Star Wars Celebration 2023. As you might expect, there’s plenty of footage where protagonist Cal Kestis takes on Imperial Stormtroopers, Battle Droids, AT-STs, Rancor, and many other iconic baddies from across the franchise – typical Jedi business.
Check out the trailer for yourself below. This one is pretty well free of any plot or story details, so don’t worry about spoilers too much.
The trailer’s most noteworthy moment is arguably those few shots featuring Coruscant – a massive capital city planet most famous from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. There’s already a lot of fan theorizing that Coruscant will be one of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor‘s explorable locales, though it’s hard to say for sure based on speculation alone.
The hype for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is borderline palpable, particularly after its most recent story trailer – likely because Cal Kestis has become a well-established character within Disney’s Star Wars universe, which Respawn Entertainment is grateful for.
We’ll find out how it all comes together when Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases on April 28, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
