Disney's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attraction is undergoing some changes in April with an influx of classic characters and a new story to boot. Just as the new Galaxy's Edge debuts, Marvel is publishing a tie-in comic that sets up the new adventure.
Titled Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Echoes of the Empire #1, the five issue limited series is written by Ethan Sacks, writer of the original Galaxy's Edge comic from 2019, and drawn by Jethro Morales and Roi Mercado. It will touch on some of the most beloved characters in the Star Wars mythos, including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewie, Boba Fett, and more.
Here's a gallery of unlettered pages along with the main cover for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge – Echoes of the Empire #1 by Phil Noto:

"NEW SECRETS OF GALAXY'S EDGE REVEALED! Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Chewbacca head to Batuu in search of important intel and stumble upon a dangerous relic – one that puts them on a collision course with the Empire!" reads Marvel's bare bones description of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge – Echoes of the Empire #1.
"We're returning to Batuu and we're bringing the biggest stars in the Star Wars galaxy with us," writer Ethan Sacks says in a statement. "A major new era is dawning at Galaxy's Edge and consider Echoes of the Empire a Holocron that reveals the secret story behind that experience. It's going to be epic and Jedi (drawing) Masters Roi Mercado and Jethro are making sure every page looks amazing."
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge – Echoes of the Empire #1 arrives on April 22, just a month ahead of the theatrical release of The Mandalorian & Grogu on May 22. For more, dig into our guide to all the upcoming Star Wars movies and shows that are in the works.
