Walter Koenig, best known for playing Russian navigator Pavel Chekov in the original Star Trek television series and its subsequent film adaptations, has died aged 90.
The actor died surrounded by his daughter and niece at his home in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, on Monday, according to a statement from his talent agent, Zachery McGinnis.
