The closing ceremony for the Paris Olympics will feature a star-studded lineup of performers, including Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. This event is part of the handover to the 2028 Los Angeles Games, with each of the music artists being California natives. H.E.R. is set to sing the U.S. national anthem live at the Stade de France during the ceremony.

LA28 chairperson Casey Wasserman expressed excitement about this significant moment in LA28 history as the Olympic flag passes from Paris to LA. The collaboration of local artists like Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Snoop Dogg is expected to create an incredible show for a global audience, providing a glimpse of what's to come in 2028.

The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics featured performances by Lady Gaga and marked the return of Celine Dion to the stage following her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome, a condition that posed a threat to her career.
