All Stalker 2 unique weapons and where to find each

Stalker 2 unique weapons - Shotgun.

Scattered throughout Stalker 2’s open world, you'll find many, many weapons. Most are in rough condition and in need of repair, or come barebones with no attachments equipped. However, there are some unique weapons hidden throughout The Zone that are kitted out with several attachments that make them more effective in combat.

While these aren’t distinguished with any kind of rarity, you can recognise each by their unique name when you pick them up. Here, I'll run through every unique weapon I've found from across Stalker 2's different regions, with map images of The Zone so you know where to look. Keep in mind that most of these are unmarked on the world map.

Since some of these weapons are related to the story, there are some spoilers contained in this guide. If you don't want to see them, avoid the entries for Labyrinth IV, Sotnyk, Encourage, Beast, and EM-1.

Deluxe and Ultimate edition unique weapons

Alongside the other unique weapons, if you have the Deluxe or Ultimate edition of the game, you can find those exclusive guns in the Seek and You Shall Find side mission. This quest is exclusive to those who have these editions and you can unlock it by using the USB you get after the A Needle In A Haystack main mission. You will be able to get the following items as part of the mission if you have the Deluxe Edition:

  • Gabion - Integral SA assault rifle
  • Monolith - PTM pistol
  • R1EMANN - Integral-A SMG
  • Monolith - AR416 assault rifle
  • Hunter - M701 sniper rifle
  • Monolith - M860 shotgun

Ultimate Edition owners also get an additional four weapons:

  • Monolith - Viper SMG
  • Model Competitor - Rhino Revolver
  • Margach D12 - D12 shotgun
  • Lullaby - Fora assault rifle

These items are scattered around the map in various marked stashes. They are also shown as objectives during the Seek and You Shall Find side mission. Now, onto the other unique weapons in the game.

Valik Lummox’s AKM-74S location

  • Weapon type: AKM-74S assault rifle
  • Region: Lesser Zone

Valik’s AKM-74S comes equipped with an extended magazine and a scope for longer range gunfights. It is one of the first unique weapons you come across in the game and can be found on the top of a water tower just to the north of Zalissya.

You'll discover this location and find the gun during the Warlock’s Debtor side mission, given to you by the barkeep in Zalissya. This is one of the first things you should do in Stalker 2 as well. Simply talk to him after arriving in the settlement to start the mission. Once at the water tower, climb to the top to pick up the gun.

Unknown Stalker’s AR416 location

  • Weapon type: AR416 assault rifle
  • Region: Lesser Zone

During The Poppy Field side mission in the Lesser Zone, you'll encounter a stalker, and if you give him the religious icon you retrieve, he'll gift you with this high-end rifle. Alternatively, you can kill him to get the rifle instead. You can also gift him the icon, get the gun, and then kill him to take the icon back to its owner.

Drowned location

  • Weapon type: AKM-74S assault rifle
  • Region: Garbage

The Drowned assault rifle is one of the easiest weapons to miss in the game, especially if you don’t spot the quest it's related to. Once you reach the Slag Heap in Garbage, you can find a man by the entrance who has dropped his weapon.

Jump down to the river and pick it up; it’s sitting right in front of where he was standing. Return to him and say that you're keeping the weapon to retain it after the conversation. Overall, the weapon isn’t much different from a regular rifle. This man can disappear if you progress the story in Garbage to the point where you head towards Wild Island, but the weapon should still be there for you to grab.

Shah’s Mate location

  • Weapon type: Viper-5 SMG
  • Region: Garbage

Shah’s Mate is tucked away in the far north of Garbage in an unmarked tunnel and is one of the easiest weapons to grab early on. Once at the location above, look for a stash tucked underneath a crack in the wall about halfway down the tunnel; here you'll find this highly-customized weapon.

The SMG has an extended drum mag and is slightly more consistent than its non-customized form. You can also find this weapon during the main questline in Garbage.

Spitter location

  • Weapon type: S-2 SMG
  • Region: Garbage

During the A Big Score side mission you can get from The Slag Heap in Garbage, you can kill and loot Leva Borzoi when he tries to rob you. On his body you'll find the Spitter.

This is a fast-firing SMG that comes with a muzzle attachment and a stock already equipped, along with an improved grip.

Combatant location

  • Weapon type: AKM-74S assault rifle
  • Region: Garbage

You can obtain the Combatant rifle by making one of the earliest main story choices you're presented with. During the Back to the Slag Heap main mission in Garbage, you will meet Col. Korshunov. He will reassemble an AK in front of you, and if you choose to give him the Unusual PDA you found in the previous mission, you will get to keep it. This choice has consequences for the game’s ending, though.

If you don’t give him the PDA and hand it to someone else, you will miss out on the gun. This is your one chance to obtain the weapon, which comes with slightly better accuracy and range compared to the regular version of its model.

Lynx location

  • Weapon type: SVDM-2 sniper rifle
  • Region: Wild Island

The Lynx is a high-powered sniper rifle that you can't actually miss, since it's given to you by Strider after completing the Hot On The Trail main mission in Wild Island.

Special location

  • Weapon type: AKM-74U assault rifle
  • Region: Cordon

The next unique weapon is just called Special, which is a tad confusing when all these weapons are special. Either way, this gun is located in the ‘Cordon’ region of The Zone by the mill, north-east of the Rookie Village, which is towards the far south of the region.

Inside the mill, you will find Stets Leech. You can kill him for the gun or heal him and return later to find he has died anyway, and so grab the gun from his corpse. This rifle comes with a unique muzzle, stock, and a reflex sight already equipped onto it.

SOFMOD location

  • Weapon type: AR416 assault rifle
  • Region: Zaton

Found in the far west of Zaton, this weapon is located in the Railway Maintenance Facility, in the building in the bottom right corner. You'll find it sitting on a box in the building’s main storage room.

The rifle comes equipped with a foregrip, silencer, extended barrel, and a sight, making it one of the most valuable weapons you can collect. After all, the description says it was built for all the challenges The Zone throws at you.

Predator location

  • Weapon type: M860 Cracker
  • Region: Zaton

You can find the Predator shotgun in Zaton. This is actually bugged right now, as the chest with it isn’t spawning for most people. But, it can be found in the Izumrudne location, in the centre of the region.

It should be in a chest within the building at the back of the area—the one with the slanted roof.

Clusterfuck location

  • Weapon type: AR416 assault rifle
  • Region: Zaton

Describing situations you will often find yourself in within The Zone, Clusterfuck is located within the Sniper’s Nest during the Three Captains side mission. This side mission can be started from Sonya in Skadovsk within the Zaton region.

Visiting the Sniper’s Nest location is an optional objective during the mission, but be sure to head there if you want to get the weapon. Clusterfuck is a hybrid sniper/assault rifle that acts as a great long-range weapon thanks to its scope.

Decider location

  • Weapon type: Dnipro assault rifle
  • Region: Cement Factory

Found in the Cement Factory region, pick up the Uninvited Guests quest and find Mytryk’s gun, the Decider, by climbing down underground nearby. Upon picking it up, you can tell him you are keeping it for yourself.

You will have to repair it though, as its durability is poor. It also comes with a sight already equipped to it.

Deadeye location

  • Weapon type: Desert Eagle pistol
  • Region: Swamps

Deadeye is a military pistol equipped with an iron sight, easily obtainable as it's a given as a reward during the Ad Astra Per Aspara main mission.

GP-25 location

  • Weapon type: GP-25 grenade launcher
  • Region: Cement Factory

In the Intercom Tower within the Cement Factory region, you can find the GP-25 grenade launcher weapon in a safe. To open it, you will need the code which is 030794. This weapon isn’t actually a named one, but it is rare to find, which is why we are mentioning it here.

GROM S-15 location

  • Weapon type: AKM-74U assault rifle
  • Region: Cooling Towers

You can find GROM S-15 within the Cooling Towers region, just south of the SKD Assembly Unit. It's in a pit in the ground in the middle of the grass, with some fire anomalies inside.

This weapon comes with an enhanced grip, underbarrel attachment, and an extended magazine.

Partner location

  • Weapon type: Mark 1 EMR marksman rifle
  • Region: Lesser Zone

Partner is a marksman rifle fitted with a sight and built for close or medium-range fights. It is unlocked after you defend Zalissya from the Monolith once you have finished the SIRCAA region. You'll be able to assist the remaining stalkers after this quest. Talking to Warlock will let you retrieve this gun from his house as a part of the On The Edge side mission.

During it, simply hold onto the gun and don’t give it back to Warlock to keep it. Unfortunately, this entire quest is bugged right now, so the weapon may not be obtainable for a while.

Sledgehammer location

  • Weapon type: SPSA-14 shotgun
  • Region: Rostok

To get this weapon, you need to finish all the arena side missions in Rostok. These can be accessed once you reach the town. This shotgun comes with a scope already equipped, along with a more distinct visual look than the base version.

Merc location

  • Weapon type: VS Vintar sniper rifle
  • Region: Rostok

Upon finishing the An Invisible Threat main mission in Rostok, turn around and enter the room with the white graffiti on its outside wall, just over the train track. In here the weapon can be found in a duffel bag.

It is a sniper rifle variant with an enhanced stock, shortened barrel, scope, and an alternative magazine, making it a little more flexible than the base VS Vintar marksman rifle.

Glutton location

  • Weapon type: RPM-74 LMG
  • Region: Rostok

On the far western edge of the Rostok region, you can find an underpass. Once inside, turn on the power and head up the stairs by the power switch to find a previously sealed door. It’s easy to spot as it's the only grey mechanical door in the area. In here, the Glutton LMG is sat on the table.

This weapon comes with a scope, an enhanced barrel, and a stock, making it one of the most reliable weapons at range, although very heavy.

Trophy location

  • Weapon type: AS Lavina assault rifle
  • Region: Chemical Plant

In the south of the Chemical Plant region, west of the army warehouses, you can find some concrete turret lookout spots. One of these is broken. Toss a grenade into it to blow up the others. Inside one of them you can find a safe with the weapon.

It’s a standard assault rifle, with a lot of alterations to make it more effective than the base model of it. These include an alternate barrel, magazine, and a scope.

Spitfire location

  • Weapon type: AKM-74U assault rifle
  • Region: Chemical Plant

After you finish the main mission, In Search of Past Glory, you will escape into some sewers. Find the yellow ladder inside a large pipe leading up. Once at the top, go through the door on your right to find this gun on the table.

Functionally, this weapon is very similar to its base mode, just with a larger magazine and a slightly more agile stock.

Gangster location

  • Weapon type: M10 Gordon SMG
  • Region: Malachite

Down in the Malachite region, you can find the Gangster SMG sitting on a table in the underground bunker you visit in the A Minor Incident main mission. Overall, this one is pretty hard to miss.

The gun is almost identical to its base variant, besides a slightly different muzzle.

Rat Killer location

  • Weapon type: ZUBR-19 SMG
  • Region: Red Forest

You can find the Rat Killer within the Red Forest during the An Act of Mercy main mission. After picking up the Regenerator, head into the room behind where it was sitting to find this gun next to the large wooden altar in the tunnel.

The weapon has a unique camo print and grip.

Whip location

  • Weapon type: SVU-MK S-3 marksman rifle
  • Region: Red Forest

Upon returning from the An Act of Mercy mission, you can find the Whip weapon sitting on a table in the office. It comes equipped with a scope and unique grip.

Texan location

  • Weapon type: RAM-2 shotgun
  • Region: Jupiter

Inside an old bunker in the Abandoned Science Campus you can find the weapon sat on a table in the testing room at the back. It is a unique version of the RAM-2, much more powerful than any other version of the weapon in The Zone.

Gauss Gun location

  • Weapon type: Gauss Gun
  • Region: Prypiat

While not unique, the Gauss Gun is worth grabbing once you get to Prypiat which is why I'm mentioning it here. It's located in the movie theater in the north of the city. Simply blow the door at the front of the building open to find it inside on the table.

You can also find it randomly on Monolith soldiers.

EM-1 location

  • Weapon type: Gauss Gun
  • Region: Prypiat

If you side with Colonel Kershanov throughout the game and ally with the Ward at the end of the game, you'll eventually reach The Last Step main mission. During it, you will kill Scar and can pick up the EM-1 from his body.

Beast location

  • Weapon type: RPM-74 LMG
  • Region: Prypiat

If you side with Richter and The Zone throughout the game, you can pickup the Beast LMG from Kershanov’s body after killing him. This happens during the Down Below main mission.

Encourage location

  • Weapon type: APSB pistol
  • Region: Prypiat

Alongside the Beast, you can also get the Encourage pistol from Kershanov’s body after killing him in the Down Below main mission. This weapon may be bugged for some players.

Sotnyk location

  • Weapon type: Dnipro assault rifle
  • Region: Prypiat

When you meet Strelok after killing Kershanov, you can find the Sotnyk sitting on the table next to him.

Labyrinth IV location

  • Weapon type: PTM pistol
  • Region: Chernobyl Anomalous Zone

Once you have reached the final quest chain for the ending where you side with Richter, you will take on the quest The Last Wish. If you choose not to shoot the doctor, you will escape through his basement and you can find the gun on the desk in the room.
