Hilarious footage has shown the moment a stag do held up traffic in Edinburgh city centre to perform a Formula 1-style tyre change on a passing car.
The video, which was shared on social media on Tuesday, June 14, shows a group of around six men dressed in Formula 1 boiler suits and caps and another, presumably the stag, sporting a Mario Kart costume.
The group are standing at a pelican crossing on Princes Street, when they spot a car approaching. Without hesitation, the party dash over to the vehicle, which stops in the middle of the busy road.
Armed with giant inflatable tyres, the men begin re-enacting a tyre change on the car, similar to a F1 pit stop.
Laughter and bellows can be heard from locals in the background, while pedestrians look on bemused. Passers-by can also be seen filming the comical scene.
The men pretend to make the swap, and the man who is thought to be the groom-to-be is ushered over to give the final seal of approval.
After a few seconds, the jolly group can be heard excitedly shouting "go, go, go!" while gesturing the vehicle on its way with elaborate hand motions.
The vehicle starts driving, although the reaction of the driver cannot be made out.
It is not known whether the person behind the wheel was in on the joke, or if it was a random encounter.
