Horrified staff of a British football club have been left 'shaken' up after an elderly man's body was found on the team's professional grounds. The 75-year-olds body was discovered by staff at The Venue in Shropshire which is home to Welsh Premier League Club The New Saints.
According to reports, the man's body was uncovered early on Sunday morning by cleaners and academy coaches who raised the alarm. When police, arrived, they performed CPR but it was obvious that the man had passed away, the Daily Star reports.
Matt Lee who runs The Venue has praised his staff for how they handled the uncomfortable situation. Speaking of the unsettling incident that took place yesterday on January 15, he said: “I must praise the staff for doing all that they could to help.
