Stacey Solomon showered with support as she tells herself she's 'failing' as mum of five and shares beautiful breastfeeding snap

Stacey Solomon has been showered with support from her fans after admitting to often telling herself that she is 'failing' or 'doing a rubbish job' after becoming a mum of five. The Loose Women star gave birth to her third child, a baby girl, with her husband Joe Swash last month.

Since then, Stacey has been giving updates on her new life as she dotes on Belle, one-year-old Rose and Rex, three, with Joe as well as her older sons Leighton and Zachary from her previous relationships. Joe is also a proud dad to his teenage son, Harry, who he shares with ex-fiancee Emma Sophocleous.

In a post over the weekend, the 33-year-old said that she 'can't function' as she spoke about the lack of sleep she has been experiencing with a newborn. Stacey took to Instagram with a photo of herself cradling her five-week-old daughter as she got ready to try and get some shut-eye.

The Sort Your Life Out host, who was dressed in a matching grey tracksuit gave a wry smile to the camera as her daughter stretched out in her arms in a white baby grow. "I managed to express four ounces through today," Stacey penned alongside an emotional face emoji.

"So me and Belle are having an early night and daddy is taking over the 2am feed and hopefully we feed again at 5/6." She went on to say: "Honestly, I can't function at the moment [crying laughing emoji]. So I'm excited to hopefully not feel like a zombie tomorrow. Happy Sunday everyone. Lots of love from us," she added.

Stacey has since returned to her Instagram page as she shared a string of sweet snaps with her three youngest children and the family's adorable pet pooches - Teddy and Peanut. A couple of images showed the group at home while another showed Stacey beaming for the camera as she clutched a cup of tea.

"Proud," the former X Factor finalist started the caption of her post to her 5.6m followers alongside a white hear. "Feeling like I smashed it today. Don’t mind if I sound big headed but I felt like a superhuman today. For some reason lately I’ve found it easy to tell myself that I’m failing or doing a rubbish job & I never tell myself how well im doing."

She went on to say: "Three 3 & under & two teenagers is wonderful but it’s not easy. Joe did a night feed for me last night & then went to work So we did the school runs and then afterwards I managed to make it for the first time EVER to Rhyme time at the library with Rex, Rose & Belle.

"Spent some time with other mum’s & felt so nice to see Rex & Belle enjoying being out of the house. Then we stayed out as long as we could, came home, played play dough shops did tuna pasta dinner & this evening was swimming lesson for Rexy. Now we are home & I’m ready to collapse on the sofa & start the cluster feeds."

Stacey concluded her candid post, which included images of her breastfeeding Belle while surrounded by her other children and dogs: "Sorry for the essay. but basically Just a little reminder that you’re doing amazing, even when you feel like you’re not. You’re so incredible don’t forget to tell yourself that sometimes."
