Stacey Solomon says sorry to fans over baby worry after stern warning to 'calm the hell down'

A giggling Stacey Solomon issued an apology to her fans after she returned to social media after a period of silence. The Loose Women star is often quite active on Instagram, giving updates on her day whether it be spending time with her kids, being out at work or working on a new DIY project.

But the heavily pregnant star went completely off-grid and only returned to the photo-sharing platform on Friday (January 20) to show off the birthday breakfast she had arranged for her husband Joe Swash who is celebrating his 41st birthday.

Stacey shared a video of the couple's son Rex, three, who was sporting a Spiderman costume. "Happy Birthday," he cheerily shouted beside the family's kitchen table before Joe arrived and sat down for his special breakfast. Stacey, 33, and Rex then sang to the former EastEnders star could tuck into his McDonald's breakfast which came complete with a birthday candle.

"Me and Rexy got up before everyone his morning so we snuck out to get dadd y a birthday McMuffin," Stacey typed alongside the video with a crying laughing emoji. "Then they all woke up when they smelt McDonald's. Happy Birthday, Joe. To the moon and back always," she added.

Stacey, who is currently heavily pregnant with her fifth child, then posted a follow-up video on her Instagram Story as she chatted to her millions of followers. Looking glowing with her blond locks styled into curls and sporting a black and white striped jumper, she said: "So many of you were like, 'Stace, don't do that to us, you've been so quiet for a few days we thought you had given birth'"

She then laughed as she said 'sorry' and panned the camera to show her blossoming baby bump that had been tucked into a pair of black leggings. "I'm very much still full-term pregnant. I just really wanted to try and make it to certain days before baby comes. I know I can't control it but my midwife was like, 'Look, if you even want the chance to get to those days, calm the hell down and don't do anything silly.'"

She explained how she's been trying to rest and said she was 'so excited' as she made it to today because her new collection is being prepared for release with In The Style and she has a photo shoot. "I really wanted to get to today because I know that I'm not going to have another collection for quite a while because I'm going to take some time off with baby."

She then showed her outfit which is from her new collection with the Manchester fashion brand and responded to claims from fans that she 'doesn't look pregnant'. "Baby is right here," she laughed as she drew and arrow on her picture towards her bum. "But the black and white stripes are so deceiving and flattering."

It comes after the Sort Your Life Out host previously shared how she is rushing to finish all her work commitments before she gives birth due to her not wanting to 'let anyone down'. The mum-of-four, who announced she was eight months pregnant to her loyal fans last month with her and Joe's third child together, said in a frank post on her Instagram Story on Monday (January 16): "I'm just trying to like finish all my commitments and make sure I don't let anyone down before this baby falls out of my vagina."

Stacey added: "I keep saying before I push it out but I feel like I'm just going to cough it's just going to fall out. You know when you're at that point where it just feels like it's hanging out and I'm sucking it in to try and finish everything and get things done. Hopefully, it doesn't just sneeze out."
