Stacey Solomon's brutally honest response to whether fans will see her on BBC Strictly Come Dancing

Stacey Solomon had a very honest response when quizzed on whether she would be up for taking part in Strictly Come Dancing. The TV star is no stranger to a reality show having shot to fame in 2009 when she made it to the final of The X Factor alongside Olly Murs and eventual winner Joe McElderry.

While she finished in third place in the ITV singing competition, the following year she emerged victorious as Queen of the Jungle in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Since then, Stacey has gone on to became a panelist on Loose Women, front her own show - Sort Your Life Out - on BBC One, and also become the co-host of Bake Off: The Professionals.

It's noted that the 33-year-old hasn't taken part in a reality show since winning I'm A Celeb 12 years ago, but speaking to Metro.co.uk in a recent interview on the back of her campaign with HelloFresh, Stacey admitted she's "obsessed" with Strictly, which is currently airing its 20th series on BBC One.

Asked if she would like to appear on the series in future, she said: ‘I would never say never but I am a terrible dancer, an absolutely terrible dancer! I don’t know why but I have no rhythm when it comes to movement. I have rhythm with singing or listening to music but when it comes to moving my feet I am left-footed, I have two left feet."

She then added: "But I am obsessed with it, I’m obsessed with the costumes. And also I would love to learn a new skill like that. I love learning anything to be honest."

During the same interview, Stacey also opened up about how she hates the drama that can follow after certain topics are discussed on Loose Women. Despite not appearing on the show as regularly, Stacey spoke about returning to live TV after being on maternity leave with daughter Rose, one, and admitted she did not miss being on the forefront of the drama on the ITV show.

"I hate the drama, I hate the scandals. I’d rather talk about every day topics that everyone is experiencing," the mum-of-four said. "When people get caught out in a scandal I almost feel sorry for them, because I’ve never met a perfect human in all my life. Nobody is this depiction of perfection."

She added: "I feel really horrible when bad things happen to people or they get in trouble, I’d much rather talk about issues affecting everybody all the time than somebody’s scandal."

Earlier this week, Stacey was supported by fans after showing off her latest creative work in her new home office and admitting to 'losing her confidence'. After sharing a video of her making a wall centerpiece with her millions of followers, she said on her Instagram Story: "Thank you for all your lovely messages tonight... I lost my confidence a bit on here lately so thank you for always being so lovely."

Adding her own uplifting message, the Sort Your Life Out presenter added: "Never forget what makes you happy, no matter what people think, if you love it then that's all that matters. Never stop being YOU. You're amazing."
