Stacey Solomon pre-empts negative comments after personal confession over fear of 'wetting herself'

Stacey Solomon appeared to be pre-empting some negative comments as she shared an adorable photo of her baby daughter. The presenter had a busy weekend as she celebrated her son Rex’s fourth birthday with an incredible Spiderman-themed party.

She previously explained that while his birthday falls on Tuesday (May 23), Rex had his first non-home-based on Saturday at a play centre. Stacey, 33, shared a selection of photos and videos to her Instagram account, including a sweet picture of her and her husband Joe Swash standing either side of the birthday boy, who was wearing a Spiderman-themed top.

The trio smiled in the sweet family snap with Stacey captioning it: "It’s party time, let’s go do four Rexy bum." She later showed the family heading to a huge foam pit activity centre, and shared a video of herself and Joe 'dueling' on a balance beam before the I'm A Celebrity star wobbles off into a pit filled with soft cubes.

Stacey celebrated her victory with Rex before they both jumped into the foam pit. Alongside the video, the mum-of-five joked: "Mum and dad, the biggest kids." The Sort Your Life Out host also shared a clip of Rex having fun in the play centre with his friends and wrote: "Hope you had the best day Rex, mummy and daddy love you so much. Four years has gone far too quick. To the moon and back Rexy."

But once back at home, Stacey got candid with her followers. The former X Factor finalist, was seen in a video on her Instagram Stories, talking to the camera while washing up at the sink Stacey told her army of fans: "Loads of you are asking, ‘Stacey, how are you jumping on those trampolines and not wetting yourself?’

"I’ll be honest, I’m a bit of a freak about those pelvic floor exercises. I do them all the time. I got so scared after I had Zach when I was 19 that I was just going to wet myself everywhere. I got a bit obsessed with just doing it all the time and do it all the time now.

The mum-of-five spoke about doing her pelvic floor exercises (Stacey Solomon Instagram)

"Like if I’m on the school run, if I’m in the car, if I’m at work having a conversation." She then confessed: "I’m doing it right now. Like, I’m just sucking those in…!" She even captioned the video: "Soz the chat went down a very different road [crying laughing emoji]. Pelvic floor & thank u's."

But although her pelvic floor exercises helped prevent any accidents, Stacey did admit the part completely wore her out. "I’m exhausted!” she said. “I haven’t had a class party in so long. I only did it once or twice for the big boys when they were really little so yes, that was actual craziness! Thirty four-year-olds running all over the place!"

Stacey shared an adorable photo of baby Belle (Stacey Solomon Instagram)

But she didn't have too much time to rest as she was back at work on Sunday, filming for her BBC One show Sort Your Life Out. Sharing a sweet snap of Belle, who was born in February and is Stacey and Joe's third child together, sleeping peacefully, Stacey said "I love my job so much.

"And I’m ridiculously excited to start a whole new series of Sort Your Life Out today but OH MY GOSH I really bloody want to be Belle right now!" But seeing off any potential ‘mum-shaming' comments, she continued to type: "She doesn’t sleep in our bed, she sleeps safely in her [cot] next to me. This is morning time cuddles position."
