Stacey Solomon has left her celebrity pals and millions of followers in tears as she gave them a glimpse at her emotional first dance. The presenter and former EastEnders star Joe Swash tied the knot at the end of last month in a Jewish ceremony at their home.
The couple, who met 12 years ago and share two children together, said 'I Do' in the sprawling garden of their dream family home, adorably dubbed Pickle Cottage. Stacey shared the first photos from the special day a few days after becoming Mrs Solomon-Swash. The 32-year-old could be seen donning a stunning princess dress - an off-white princess gown featured a tulle floor-length skirt and corset-style top with spaghetti straps as well as draped sleeves.
Stacey's freshly dyed blonde locks had been styled into soft curls and accessorized her look with a subtle flower crown complete with a flowing veil and low-heeled strappy shoes that were topped with a sparkly silver bow. Joe, 40, looked suave and sophisticated for the special day, donning a navy blue three-piece suit with a pastel green bow tie, and flower on the lapel.
She also gave her loyal fans a glimpse at the huge garden marquee that had been set up for their guests to enjoy their wedding breakfast surrounded by fairy lights and floral arrangements. And over the weekend, Stacey spoke directly to her millions of fans for the first time.
Earlier this week, Stacey shared her excitement as she and her new husband were preparing to receive more photos and videos from their big day - and they didn't disappoint as the Loose Women star took to Instagram to share a video of the newlyweds' first dance. "Our First Dance I’m so lucky to have you by my side. Today, Tomorrow, Forever," penned to her more than five million followers.
The clip showed the sweet moment Stacey and Joe took to the dance floor as husband and wife for the first time. They danced along to a bespoke version My Love Is Your Love by Whitney Houston, and the video showed Joe whispering to his bride "I love you" as the tears flowed between them.
"We got to see some of our videos today and it was magical," Stacey continued. "It's so nice to have had time to remember our wedding in our heads and tell each other our different memories & favourite moments. Then to see it all on video was just the most special feeling ever.
"Hope this makes your heart happy the way it did us. Joe speaking to me in the middle is my favourite bit. My sister found the singer who sung the version of this song that I am obsessed with and she booked her to sing us our first dance as a surprise. It was even more incredible live and I cried as soon as I saw it was her @karamarni."
Adding details about her stunning dress, she wrote: "The dress is from @veronabridalni a small Irish boutique run by the kindest most incredible women who just made all of my dress dreams come true."
And Stacey's post has left everyone feeling emotional. In The Style founder Adam Frisby commented: " Ok I’m not crying I promise." Former Corrie star Ryan Thomas wrote: " Stop it," alongside a string of heart emojis. Sophie Hincliffe, aka Mrs Hinch, replied: " I can’t. This moment was just everything and more so precious so pure and just so bloody perfect. I love you both mr & Mrs."
Fans were also flooding the post with comments. @cherryredlips39 said: "This is so beautiful… made my eyes leak. Congratulations." @theyummyyank commented: "This made me cry with joy! The two of you exude happiness, joy and love." @smw1403 wrote: "I'm literally sobbing at how in love you both are." @gemh28sw added: "Absolutely gorgeous and magical, love the way Joe is talking to you in the middle of this.... true love."
Stacey also posted a video to her Instagram Story showing Joe in front of a laptop watching the speeches from their wedding day. "We are watching the boys speeches back and actually sobbing. Our poor videographer @galaxyvideolondon has just had to stare at our snotty red faces for the last 5 hours."
She then posted the video to her Stories and said: "Just everything... I could relive this moment forever and ever. Our First Dance. Watching our videos back today has been just more special than I could ever have imagined." She also revealed how her sister, Jemma, found the singer who performed their first dance track alongside an old friend of Stacey's who she met when he was DJ and she worked in bar.
