Stacey Solomon has proved she's not one to waste away a good snow day sitting inside watching Christmas movies.
Instead, the mum-of-four, prefers to be outside, lapping up the most of the snowy weather - and that's exactly what she did thanks to her husband's childhood sled.
Loose Women star Stacey, 33, dusted off Joe Swash's sled, which he has had since he was a little boy, and pulled out all the stops on Monday so that her little ones could make the most of their snow day off from school.
Stacey and her gorgeous family were snowed in at their home in Essex on Monday, meaning that the TV star was forced to miss her appearance on Loose Women.
Instead, Stacey decided to conduct her interviews remotely from Pickle Cottage as she attempted to make the best of a bad situation.
After finishing up working from home for the day on Monday, Stacey decided it was time to get out in the snow with her boys.
Sharing photos from her sprawling garden, Stacey told her 5.8 million Instagram followers that she had dusted off her husband's childhood sled before venturing outside with son Rex, three, and 14-month old daughter Rosie.
Alongside the sweet snaps, Stacey penned: "The First Snow At Pickle Cottage and Rose’s first ever snow. We woke up to what seemed like Narnia outside the window and the kids have never been so excited.
"Our roads hadn’t gotten round to being gritted so all school and work was snowed off! So we made the most of a very very rare snow day and spent all day in Joes childhood sleigh that he has had since he was 10, making snow angels and having snowball fights.
"It was such a special day that none of us new was coming. Happy Monday everyone. Hope you’re ok, and not too snowed in. Lots and lots of love from all of us."
Stacey recently shared her excitement about spending Christmas in Pickle Cottage with her family.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: " We look forward to the same thing every single year – just stopping. We know that on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day we’ll be home with our kids, and for us that’s the most exciting thing."
Lifting the lid on her Christmas morning, Stacey shared: " We have breakfast in our pyjamas and then we get dressed, because I like everyone to wear something nice on Christmas Day – much to their dismay.
"Although Christmas morning starts at about 4am, it’s Joe who’s the first one up, running downstairs to find his stocking."
