Stacey Solomon has brutally mocked her fiancé Joe Swash’s individual style and found herself unable to stop laughing as he modelled some pantaloons and a high street fast food branded top.
The 32-year-old Loose Women star has been dating 40-year-old Joe since 2015, they became engaged in December 2020, and together they share a two-year-old son named Rex and a five-month-old daughter named Rose.
Stacey often shares tender family moments with her fans and followers via social media and on Tuesday she uploaded a video of Joe playfully rocking their daughter in their family home.
However, Stacey couldn’t stop herself picking up on the curious items of clothing that Joe was wearing - which included a very baggy grey pair of pantaloon trousers and a Greggs x Primark hoodie.
Uploading the footage to her Instagram Stories, Stacey could be heard laughing: “MC Hammer. Why are you still wearing those pants?”
A shocked Joe, who was facing away from the camera, suddenly spun around and declared: “I like these pants.”
Stacey then began singing the classic MC Hammer song, U Can’t Touch This, to the delight of both Joe and Rose.
Stacey then squealed: “Oh my god, is your jumper a Greggs jumper?”
And Joe confirmed that: “Yeah” it was.
She added a caption to the video, writing: “Outfit of the day” – alongside a giant crying-with-laughter emoji face.
She continued: “Mc Hammer Pants with a Greggs hoodie I can’t cope.”
She then, between two further crying-with-laughter emoji faces, added: “He kills me”.
Last month, fast fashion high street chain Primark announced their surprise collaboration with Greggs bakery, producing a range of items embossed with the Greggs logo, company name, and slogans like ‘It’s a pastry thing’.
The hoodies cost a reasonable £16, while other items including pants, socks and t-shirts ranged in price from £7 - £14.
The collaboration proved to be a hit for Primark, with the entire range almost completely selling out within days and only Greggs themed underwear remaining.
Primark explained their decision to partner with Greggs by saying they wanted shoppers to be able to buy items that would leave them “looking like a snack”.
Meanwhile, Stacey’s latest child was recently given the spotlight as the former X Factor singer brought Rose on to the set of Loose Women for the other panelists to meet.
Co-stars Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha and Judi Love all gushed over the little one and shrieked with excitement when she was brought onto the set.
The ladies had also clubbed together to buy baby rose a swimming suit – which Stacey thanked them for and cooed: "Aww that's adorable”.
